There are many “best hound dogs in the whole wide world”. Sammy and Mr. Buddylee are two of them. Buddylee’s latest road trip was to the Newburyport, Massachusetts Literary Festival where he met the author, Barbara Walsh, of Sammy In The Sky. The life span of our canine companions is much too short, but the love packed into the brief time that we get to share with our animals is so worth it! This touching story, beautifully illustrated by Jamie Wyeth, helps kids to focus on many of the wonderfully special moments pets bring to our lives. Mr. Buddylee and family are about to press the “add to cart” button. Newburyport is a delightfully restored seaport town 20 miles North of Boston and 20 miles South of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Mr. Buddylee’s hangout.

Mr Buddylee has surely gotten important.. Sitting with the authors now… Next thing you know he will have pen in paw and writing his own “tail”.. I love the architecture.. never been to that part of the country. The brick street makes me think of St Pete where I spent my youngest days. So much activity is going on I don’t know how Mr BL keeps his nose to the ground…
I just knew Mr. Buddlee was well read. Mr. Buddylee is so intelligent and a wonderful conversationalist. I think paw and pen should begin a book maybe a biography, or an adventure.

Someone in Yankeetown misses BuddyLee. The street is not the same.
