Mr. Buddylee obeys signs and rules, but I think he would have issues with any sign that says “no dogs allowed”. We think that’s discrimation.

We love the building sign, and can tell that Mr BL heartly approves.

Mr. Buddylee does too much exercse for my taste. I know the smells, dogs, and people are a treat when you’re out and about; but, Mr. Buddylee needs to remember that ALL Bassets are basically house dogs, and enjoy a comfortable indoor spot (preferably on furniture), an abundance of treats, and belly rubs.

I want to know what ingredients were in those treats! Should this “Bassethound Red Eye” syndrome raise some concern for Buddy Lee’s well being? Some K-9step meetings perhaps? Don’t fall off the “deep end” BL, stay strong.

This was, actually, one of Budd’s least favorite BLOG photos. Jeff asked me to hold some treats as BuddyLee automatically sits when offered a treat. After Budd sat, Jeff popped the glasses on him- BuddyLee could no longer see the treat, but he could smell it. Very frustrated Hound whose Father couldn’t seem to understand why he was not cooperating. Hmmm…

I don’t think these glasses are part of the image Mr. Buddylee wishes to project. After all he is known to be suave, charismatic, and cool. The image he projects is “You will have take multiple cold showers before and after dealing with me. I just ooze sophistication!”

These glasses just don’t fit in with his personality/image.

Jim, getting Buddylee to display a broad smile would be a real trick (probably in Photoshop). He smiles on the inside, daily! He actually does need some dental work. Maybe braces will create a sparkly smile?
