Mr. Buddylee Is Wondering: Is This Supposed To Be My New Best Friend?
Please notice the similar expressions on the faces of both hounds. We will have plenty of fun with this plush hound, a thoughtful gift from Andi and Andrew to Mr. Buddylee. Maintenance-wise, the stuffed basset is a delight to have around. However, nothing replaces the genuine article! What is Mr. Buddylee thinking? Can we get some caption suggestions for this 2-hound photo from our loyal fans? The comment box is just below this image.

Mr. Buddylee Has Always Been A Sound Investment!
Mr. Buddylee was, is and continues to be a sound investment. One of his favorite downtown walks brings him through brick-building lined streets that amplify his, already loud, howl. The reverberation created by his voice, bouncing off the hard surfaces, can be heard for blocks. Click on the arrow at the beginning of the audio bar graph(below) and listen for yourself. Please be advised: if there are any adults, small children, or animals within 5 feet of your computer, hearing protection may be needed! Please let us know your opinion of Mr. Buddylee’s new slogan, “The Bark Doesn’t Stop Here!”
P.S. There is a “PAUSE” button for your non-listening pleasure.

Mr. Buddylee Greets A Minor Fast Food Icon.
Mr. Buddylee continues his brief series: “Iconic Images in the Fast Food World”. Our Bassethound interrupts the Little Caesars advertising ambassador to say howl-O. Buddylee surprises everyone with his loud and low voice, but they soon realize it is a friendly greeting. We have had many a truck driver yell out their window to try and get Mr. Buddylee to talk. One of Mr. Buddylee’s best friends is named Cesar, but he doesn’t wear a toga!

Mr. Buddylee: Weiner Dog Meets Weinermobile
Just as I was thinking about the content of Mr. Buddylee’s next blog photo, the subject matter was sitting at the back of the local Holiday Inn parking lot. We’ve had what seems to be weeks of cold, wet New Hampshire Spring days (really cold and really wet). This bright orange and yellow vehicle served as a momentary sun substitute. For Mr. Buddylee, the “weinermobile” had no interest at all. An open pack of Oscar Meyer weiners would be his idea of a great time. What is your hound’s favorite human food item? “Look, a weiner dog”, always gets shouted out to Buddylee.

Mr. Buddylee Is Working On The “Buddycam”.
This image is a view of Mr. Buddylee from 6” above the ground. Our Bassethound is caught in mid-stride as we walk around a local pond. The “Buddycam” needs to be attached to Buddylee’s body to capture his unique, world perspective. His low center of gravity and huge paws gives him a powerful advantage in deciding the direction of our walks. His belly is close to the earth, and after a long stroll in the damp woods we call him “Mr. Gritbelly”.

Mr. Buddylee Can Be Compared to a Boat.
If you look closely at the photo, 3 of the boats in the background refer to the Buddylee comparison. Most of the time, the nautical reference that best suits our Bassethound, is that of an anchor. As his nose is always guiding us (being kind) on his daily walks, a compact tugboat is also a great image used to describe Mr. Buddylee. How many “little tugboats” are out there leading their companions to new adventures? BTW, the compass rose is just outside the frame view.

Mr. Buddylee Is a Bit Confused With the Doggish Image.
Mr. Buddylee, on one of his walks, passes a city mural. The photo insert of Buddylee is not the image I wanted! Seconds before, He actually sniffed the bricks at the tail-end of the 2 dimensional Shepherd looking dog. Mr. Buddylee’s companions were laughing so hard at this “usually normal” dog behavior, the camera didn’t make it out of its pouch fast enough. Trust me, this actually happened. Can anybody explain?

Mr. Buddylee In A Typical City Scene.
Mr. Buddylee meets a new friend? A city hound meets a city goat. Izak is 18 months old and, as you can see, doesn’t know what to think about this strange howling animal (where is the audio when we need it?). The decibel level of Mr. Buddylee, sometimes, tests the patience of animals and humans. By the smile on Izak’s companion, you can tell he is enjoying the moment. If ever a photo called out for a caption, this one certainly does. Please add your comment below this image.
